Tecno lovers will surely go for Tecno Spark 4 while Infinix lovers will as well settle for Hot 8 but then we are going to find the differences between the 2 smartphones.
InfinixHot 8 VS Tecno Spark 4 (Comparision)
If you are still contemplating which phone to go for between Spark 4 and Hot 8 then this post will be very useful to you and every other person who wishes to know more about Spark 4 and Infinix Hot 8 smartphone. To cut the long story short let start with the price.
Price
Hot 8 is more expensive than Spark 4 selling between 36,000 to 40,000 while Spark 4 goes between 33k to 35k, however, Infinix Hot 8 comes in 2 versions, Hot 8 and Hot 8 lite. The lite version of hot 8 lacks 4G network and other minor features but stays within the same price range as Tecno Spark 4.
Specifications
The two smartphones are not far from each in terms of design and size, even the colours look the same but Hot 8 is a bit bigger offering a 6.6-inch display while Spark 4 comes with a 6.52-inch display, some other reviews online still claims that Hot 8 has 6.52 inch display size but according to the official review from Infinix Mobility which equally claimed that it has 6.6 inch display moreover, both of them comes with the modern Dot notch screen.
Going to operating system and processor there is no much difference between them as they both come with the latest Android 9 Pie OS, they are powered by a Quad-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz and to be honest I don't much different in both smartphones. They both share a lot in common when it comes to memory, they both have 2GB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 32GB built-in memory with an option to extend the storage memory up to 128GB using Micro SD card.
It will be hard to determine the winner in terms of the camera quality as both have a triple rear camera (13MP+2MP+QVGA) and 8MP Front Camera with Flash. However, the flashlight in the front is hidden in the notch display. Moving to the battery capacity, Infinix Hot 8 is the winner with 5000 mAh battery capacity while Spark 4 still boasts 4000 mAh battery.
If you care much about 4G network compatibility then consider going for Infinix Hot 8 or Tecno smark 4 because Hot 8 lite doesn't support 4G network, moreover, there was a problem connecting to GLO 4G LTE network when I first tested Infinix hot 8 but presently am flexing MTN and GLO 4G without any issue.
My personal suggestion on Hot 8 VS Spark 4
Let me assume that you are asking me to choose for you which will not be easy because it depends on what you want but to me, the only major difference is the battery capacity and nothing much. If you love a smartphone with a big battery then go for Infinix Hot 8 but it's better to buy Spark 4 than to buy Hot 8 Lite because 4G means a lot to now. I will either go for Infinix hot 8 or Spark 4 but not hot 8 lite. So make your choice.
