In a bid to remain applicable in Nigeria's pay-TV market, StarTimes has cut down the costs of its decoder and reception apparatus for new endorsers ready to buy the kit with one-month free membership successful. The offer has commenced since January 15, 2020.

The Company announced the price reduction from N8, 900 to N6, 900 for its DTH (Combo Decoder Only) while a combination of Combo Decoder and Dish sells for N8, 900, a more than 30% reduction.
